Lukuvuosimaksut
Jos aloitat opinnot 1.8.2026 jälkeen ja olet EU- ja ETA-alueen ulkopuolelta tulevan maan kansalainen, saatat joutua maksamaan lukuvuosimaksun ammatillisessa koulutuksessa.
Suomessa jo asuvien henkilöiden kohdalla ratkaisevaa on oleskeluluvan peruste.
Lukuvuosimaksu koskee sinua, jos:
- olet muuttamassa Suomeen opiskelutarkoituksella
- sinulla on opiskelun perusteella myönnetty oleskelulupa (B tai A)
- sinun ensimmäinen oleskelulupasi Suomeen on myönnetty opiskelun perusteella
- olet saanut oleskelulupasi perheenjäsenen opiskelun perusteella.
Sinun ei tarvitse maksaa lukuvuosimaksua, jos:
- olet oppivelvollinen
- sinulla on pysyvä oleskelulupa (P)
- sinulla on jatkuva oleskelulupa (A) (muu kuin opiskelua varten myönnetty)
- saat kansainvälistä tai tilapäistä suojelua
- olet vaihto-opiskelija, jolla korkeintaan vuoden pituinen oleskelulupa
- olet ns. sinisen kortin haltija tai sinulla on pitkään oleskelleen kolmannen maan kansalaisen EU-oleskelulupa
- olet Islannin, Liechtensteinin, Norjan tai Sveitsin kansalainen.
Lukuvuosimaksu ei sisällä maksutonta ruokailua oppilaitoksen opiskelijaravintoloissa, asuntolapaikkaa eikä oppimateriaaleja ja työvälineitä.
Oppilaitoksessamme on opiskelijoille lainattavia tutkintokohtaisia oppimateriaaleja ja työvälineitä. Niitä saat käyttöösi lähiopetuspäivien ajaksi.
Lisäksi sinulle voi tulla työvaatekustannuksia.
Olet oikeutettu opiskeluhuollon palveluihin sekä oppimisen tukeen.

Tuition fees
If you begin your studies after 1 August 2026 and are a citizen of a country outside the EU/EEA, you may be required to pay tuition fees for vocational education and training.
For persons already residing in Finland, the decisive factor is the ground for the residence permit.
The tuition fee applies to you if:
- you are moving to Finland for the purpose of studying
- you hold a residence permit (B or A) granted based on studies
- your first residence permit for Finland was granted based on studies
- you received your residence permit based on a family member’s studies.
You do not have to pay the tuition fee if:
- you are subject to compulsory education
- you hold a permanent residence permit (P)
- you hold a continuous residence permit (A) (other than one granted for studies)
- you receive international or temporary protection
- you are an exchange student with a residence permit valid for a maximum of one year
- you are a holder of an EU Blue Card or an EU residence permit for long-term residents (third-country nationals)
- you are a citizen of Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, or Switzerland.
The tuition fee does not include free meals in the educational institution's student restaurants, accommodation, or learning materials and tools.
Our educational institution has degree-specific learning materials and tools available for students to borrow. You can use them during in-person teaching days.
You may also incur costs for work clothing.
You are entitled to student welfare services and learning support.
